Orange Lutheran is 8-2 against Mater Dei since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lancers will head out to challenge the Monarchs at 3:30 p.m. Neither Orange Lutheran nor Mater Dei posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Orange Lutheran will head out to face Mater Dei after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. The Lancers fell just short of Santa Margarita by a score of 4-2.

Orange Lutheran saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Harrison, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Mater Dei came up short against JSerra Catholic on Friday and fell 5-2.

Mater Dei's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11-1. As for Orange Lutheran, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 22-4.

Everything went Orange Lutheran's way against Mater Dei in their previous meeting back in April, as Orange Lutheran made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
