Baseball Recap: Pendleton County Takes a Loss

Pendleton County fell victim to Moorefield and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Yellow Jackets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcat have suffered against the Yellow Jackets since April 25, 2023.

Pendleton County now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Moorefield, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pendleton County will welcome The Linsly School at 1:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Moorefield, they will host Notre Dame at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
