Football Recap: Gladstone Falls to Durand in First Game of Season

Gladstone had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 28-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Durand Railroaders. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Gladstone and Durand will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Braves will challenge rival Negaunee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Durand is set to take on their familiar foe New Lothrop at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
