Volleyball Recap: Homestead Spartans vs. Fishers Tigers

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Homestead can now relate to. They came up short against the Fishers Tigers on Saturday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Spartans have suffered since May 18, 2024.

Their offense was headlined by Aaron Demars and Brady Henline, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Jesse Biedenbach and his 19 assists. Henline was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Fishers can attribute much of their success to Ian Pifer, who had 13 digs and three assists. Pifer has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last five times he's played.
