Volleyball Recap: Conant Comes Up Short

Conant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Niles North Vikings.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-7.

Lelah Lee paced Conant's offense, picking up three kills. Lee got some help from Sienna McCarthy and her five assists.

Conant's loss dropped their record down to 6-28. As for Niles North, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-15.

Coming up, Conant will venture away from home to square off against Elgin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Niles North, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Maine East on the 23rd.
