Basketball Recap: Floyd Central Takes a Loss

Floyd Central was the 64-63 winner over Southwestern when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Floyd Central Highlanders took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwestern Rebels. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Floyd Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Southwestern, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Coming up, Floyd Central will host Brownstown Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwestern, they will take on Providence at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
