Jeremy Spratling Turns in Season-Best Performance

Jeremy Spratling produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Helena to the win on Friday. Spratling rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.

The win (which was Helena's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Spratling's next match is against Calera on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Spain Park picked up their 13th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Corey Barber. Barber did his part (and then some), picking up 148 receiving yards and three touchdowns for the 'W'. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 69 yards.

Spain Park's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Jaguars dukes it out withChilton County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Domynyck Santiago's Rushing Yards a New Career-High

Domynyck Santiago produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Helena to the win on Friday. Santiago rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 67 yards.

This season, Santiago has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 38 rushing yards per game.

Brock Bradley's Big Game Leads Spain Park over Calera
