Legion Collegiate Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Combine Academy National, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's matchup. The Lancers put the hurt on the Goats with a sharp 10-1 win on Monday. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Legion Collegiate Academy got a great performance from Coalson Williams as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Williams has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Legion Collegiate Academy let Justin Iannetto and Hudson Riordan run wild. Iannetto went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Riordan went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Legion Collegiate Academy is undefeated when Iannetto posts two or more runs, but 6-8 otherwise. Griffin McKain was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Legion Collegiate Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Combine Academy National, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.

Legion Collegiate Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-6 victory against Palisades on the 15th. As for Combine Academy National, they have also already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Grace Christian on the 26th.
