Kash Cobb Goes Supernova in Weiser Win
Kash Cobb's big game helped extend Weiser's winning streak to six on Friday. Fruitland had no answer to Cobb as he rushed for 221 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. Cobb really tore up the turf during one magnificent 89-yard run.
For the year, Cobb has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 136.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown.

Pecunia Came Up Big in Payette's 26-13 Win
Thanks in part to Darrien Pecunia, Payette said goodbye to their four-game losing streak. Pecunia did his part (and then some), rushing for 129 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries for the 'W'. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended a pass.
The win got Payette back to even at 4-4. Pecunia and Payette will challenge Weiser at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ethan Minegar Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sadly, Ethan Minegar posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Cole Valley Christian over Payette on Friday. Minegar picked up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.
Cole Valley Christian is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Minegar and Cole Valley Christian will face off against Homedale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Fruitland was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Coye Coffman did his best to prevent it. Coffman was unstoppable, picking up 76 receiving yards.
Unfortunately for Weiser, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Coffman. Coffman picked up 56 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 101 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Wolverines duked it out back in October of 2023.
