Basketball Game Preview: Logansport Berries vs. Tipton Blue Devils

Logansport is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Saturday. They will venture away from home to challenge the Tipton Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 48-19, which was the final score in Logansport's tilt against Twin Lakes on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Berries have lost by exactly 29 points.

Meanwhile, Tipton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 48-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tri-Central.

Logansport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tipton, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-2.

Everything came up roses for Logansport against Tipton in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 40-13 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Berries since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
