Softball Recap: Neville Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Neville challenged Ruston on Thursday. The Tigers fell 11-8 to the Bearcats. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bearcats earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Neville dropped their record down to 10-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Ruston, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Neville will venture away from home to challenge Claiborne Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ruston, they will head out to face off against Ouachita Parish at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
