Basketball Recap: Clay County Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked Community + How To Watch

The Clay County Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Community Vikings/Viqueens 61-59 on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Bulldogs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 240th, while the Vikings/Viqueens are ranked 94th).

The victory got Clay County back to even at 4-4. As for Community, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.

Clay County and Macon County will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Community will take on Eagleville in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings/Viqueens will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
