Spring Hill waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Carthage Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Spring Hill never let Carthage on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-19, 25-21.

Spring Hill's victory bumped their record up to 25-6. As for Carthage, they dropped their record down to 13-15 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Spring Hill will challenge rival Kilgore at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Carthage is set to face off against their familiar foe Pine Tree at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
