Baseball Recap: King Wolves vs. Kaiser Cats
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but King ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past the Kaiser Cats 3-2. Those three runs were actually the fewest the Wolves have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
King got a great performance from Miles Swan as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Cooper Cantrell was excellent, going 3-for-5 with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Moreno, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
King's record is now 4-1. As for Kaiser, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
Looking ahead, King will host Ramona at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kaiser, they will face off against South Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cats 3.2, the Huskies 0.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
