Basketball Recap: Ringgold Takes a Loss

Ringgold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a hard 57-40 fall against the South Fayette Lions. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 539th, while the Lions are ranked 114th).

Ringgold's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for South Fayette, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Ringgold will square off against Southmoreland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southmoreland will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Ringgold surely won't give up without a fight. South Fayette has already played their next contest (against Bethel Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
