The Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Knights at 3:30 p.m. Arroyo took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Gabrielino, who comes in off a win.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Wednesday. Gabrielino put the hurt on South El Monte with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Gabrielino.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Gabrielino was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Arroyo unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Marshall.

While Arroyo was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Marshall's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-15.

Gabrielino's win bumped their record up to 22-5-1. As for Arroyo, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Gabrielino took their victory against Arroyo in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
