Volleyball Recap: River View Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact River View can now relate to. They came up short against the Meadowbrook Colts on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Black Bears have struggled against the Colts recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-12, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, River View saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lindyn Fry had 16 digs and six assists. Fry has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Journey Nicola was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 18 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

River View's loss dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Meadowbrook, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-2.

River View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Meadowbrook, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against London on the 1st.
