Basketball Recap: Cornell Comes Up Short

Cornell won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were dealt a 47-18 loss at the hands of the Prairie Farm Panthers. The Chiefs have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Cornell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Prairie Farm, they moved to 4-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cornell will welcome Lake Holcombe at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prairie Farm, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against New Auburn at 5:45 p.m. New Auburn will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Prairie Farm surely won't give up without a fight.
