Soccer Recap: Cheatham County Central Takes a Loss

Cheatham County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Sycamore War Eagles, falling 5-2. While losing is never fun, Cheatham County Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Sycamore are ranked 83rd).

Cheatham County Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Sycamore, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0-1.

Coming up, Cheatham County Central will welcome East Hickman County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Cheatham County Central their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Sycamore, they will face off against Fairview at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
