Baseball Recap: Horizon Huskies vs. Higley Knights

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Horizon ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Higley Knights 6-5. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Horizon as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Logan Price looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Horizon's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Tomey, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
