Volleyball Recap: Bishop Ludden Takes a Loss

Bishop Ludden saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lyons Lions by a score of 2-1. The Gaelic Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Bishop Ludden came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-22, 15-13.

Bishop Ludden's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Lyons, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-3 record this season.

Bishop Ludden will face off against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lyons, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Greece Olympia/Greece Odyssey on the 11th.
