Basketball Recap: Mackinac Island Drops Season-High Score on Beaver Island

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mackinac Island). They put the hurt on the Beaver Island Islanders with a sharp 58-34 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Lakers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Mackinac Island's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-6. As for Beaver Island, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
