New Philadelphia is a perfect 10-0 against Zanesville since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Quakers will host the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, New Philadelphia didn't have quite enough to beat Carrollton and fell 3-2. The Quakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

New Philadelphia actually scored more points across those five sets (109-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 26-24, 20-25, 12-25, 25-21, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Zanesville lost 3-0 to Johnstown-Monroe on Thursday. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Johnnies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-12.

New Philadelphia's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Zanesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-21.

Everything went New Philadelphia's way against Zanesville in their previous meeting back in September of 2022, as New Philadelphia made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Quakers repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
