Baseball Recap: Southern Lee Has No Trouble Against Hoke County

After only two runs in their last game, Southern Lee made sure to put some runs up on the board against Hoke County on Tuesday. Southern Lee was the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over Hoke County. The victory continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Bucks: they've now won seven in a row.

Christian Cox made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

In other batting news, Cole Faulk was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
