Soccer Game Preview: McMinn County vs. Soddy Daisy

The McMinn County Cherokees will head out to face off against the Soddy Daisy Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. McMinn County will be strutting in after a win while Soddy Daisy will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, McMinn County was able to grind out a solid victory over Sweetwater, taking the game 3-1. The game marked McMinn County's most dominant win of the season.

Despite a strong season so far, Soddy Daisy has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of St. Andrews-Sewanee.

McMinn County's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Soddy Daisy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3-2.
