Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Edna walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Crystal City Javelinas on Friday as they made off with a 79-53 victory. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Edna pushed their record up to 26-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points over those games. As for Crystal City, their loss dropped their record down to 20-10.

Coming up, Edna will face off against Bishop on Monday. Bishop will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Edna surely won't give up without a fight. Crystal City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
