Basketball Recap: Ridgeline falls despite big games from Easton Amend and Caden Andreas

Basketball Recap: Ridgeline Falcons vs. Mt. Spokane Wildcats

On Friday, the Ridgeline Falcons faced the Mt. Spokane Wildcats in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Ridgeline suffered a rough 81-59 defeat at the hands of the Wildcats. Ridgeline has not had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Ridgeline's loss came despite strong showings from Caden Andreas and Easton Amend. Andreas scored 14 points along with six assists and three steals, while Amend scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Michael Perry was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

Ridgeline's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Mt. Spokane, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Ridgeline will take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lewis & Clark is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Mt. Spokane, they will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mead will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Wildcats are ranked second).
