Volleyball Game Preview: Dunedin Falcons vs. Boca Ciega Pirates + How To Watch

The Dunedin Falcons will take on the Boca Ciega Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Dunedin has three straight victories, Boca Ciega has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Thursday, Dunedin made easy work of Lakewood and carried off a 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-20, 25-12.

Dunedin found their leader in freshman Avery Caswell, who had eight assists and three aces. McKenzie Skaggs also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Dunedin was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 34 aces. They are 7-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Boca Ciega came up short against Largo on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Boca Ciega's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Dunedin, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Dunedin took their win against Boca Ciega when the teams last played back in September of 2015 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
