Football Game Preview: South Callaway vs. North Callaway

It will be a battle of North versus South on Friday as South Callaway square off against North Callaway at 7:00 PM. North Callaway will need to watch out since South Callaway have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.

North Callaway entered their match against Mark Twain last Friday without any home losses -- but there's a first time for everything. North Callaway fell just short of Mark Twain by a score of 22-24. A silver lining for North Callaway was the play of senior Dakota Brush, who rushed for 122 yards and 1 touchdown. Brush has now scored at least one touchdown in the past eight games.

Meanwhile, South Callaway might be getting used to good results now that the team has seven wins in a row. They had enough points to win and then some against Wright City, taking their matchup 41-21.

North Callaway didn't have too much trouble with South Callaway the last time the two teams met as they won 38-20. North Callaway's victory shoved South Callaway out of the playoffs, so expect the team will have a target on their back in this one.
