Soccer Game Preview: Northern Guilford vs. Page

The Northern Guilford Nighthawks will square off against the Page Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northern Guilford is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Northern Guilford's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Northwest Guilford 1-0. Northern Guilford's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Halle Majoy, who's now up to ten this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Page made sure to put some goals up on the board against Western Guilford on Wednesday. They blew past the Hornets 4-0. Page haven't had any issues with Western Guilford recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Northern Guilford pushed their record up to 11-6-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five contests. As for Page, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Everything went Northern Guilford's way against Page in their previous meeting back in March, as Northern Guilford made off with a 5-0 victory. Do the Nighthawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
