Ta'john Royster Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Friday, East got the W thanks in part to Ta'John Royster playing the best football he has all season. Royster rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

The victory (which was East's sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Royster and East will challenge Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Davell Brock Dazzles in Linden-Mckinley Win

Linden-McKinley picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Davell Brock. Brock was unstoppable, rushing for 66 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while also throwing for 144 yards and two touchdowns.

Linden-McKinley's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3. Brock and Linden-McKinley will venture away from home to challenge Mifflin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Harrison Made His Presence Known in Northland's 58-6 Win

Akeilles Harrison was a major factor in Northland's victory over Mifflin on Friday. Harrison was unstoppable, throwing for 165 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushing for 50 yards.

Northland's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Harrison and Northland will take on Whetstone at 6:50 p.m. on Friday.

Aaron Britford and Co. Win Sixth in a Row

Aaron Britford was instrumental in extending East's winning streak to six on Friday. Beechcroft had no answer to Britford as he rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
