Basketball Game Preview: Chamblee Bulldogs vs. Arabia Mountain Rams

Chamblee hasn't had much luck against Arabia Mountain recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Chamblee Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Arabia Mountain Rams at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Back in December of 2024, Chamblee was beaten by Lakeside 67-34. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 414th, while the Vikings are ranked 128th).

Meanwhile, Arabia Mountain unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 66-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cherokee Bluff.

Arabia Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Chamblee, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Chamblee might still be hurting after the 59-33 defeat they got from Arabia Mountain in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Arabia Mountain's Charmaine Owens, who went 9 for 19 on her way to 24 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Now that Chamblee knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
