Central entered their tilt with Southwest on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 57-47. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-40 on January 9th.

Southwest's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Simya Robertson, who went 6-for-11 on her way to 14 points. Shakiya Dean was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 13 points.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Southwest, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Central will take on rival Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Southwest is set to challenge their familiar foe Academy for Classical Education at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
