Soccer Game Preview: Central Crossing vs. Buckeye Valley

The Central Crossing Comets will take on the Buckeye Valley Barons at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Central Crossing took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over Amanda-Clearcreek.

Meanwhile, Buckeye Valley kept a clean sheet against Pleasant on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 6-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Buckeye Valley in their matchups with Pleasant: they've now won eight in a row.

Buckeye Valley's offense was hitting Pleasant from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Timmy Ragiel led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Buckeye Valley now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Central Crossing, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
