Volleyball Recap: Billings Wildcats vs. Lesterville Bearcats
It was a proper cat-fight when Billings duked it out withLesterville on Saturday. The Billings Wildcats fell just short of the Lesterville Bearcats by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2019.
Billings actually scored more points across those three sets (69-68), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-23, 25-21.
Billings' loss dropped their record down to 8-7-2. As for Lesterville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-7-1.
Billings does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lesterville has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Miller on the 19th.
