Football Recap: Amari Harris' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Woodmont over Easley + How To Watch

Woodmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 30-22 to the Easley Green Wave. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Green Wave apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Woodmont lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Amari Harris, who rushed for 75 yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Harper Doyle, who threw for 206 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes.

A big part of Easley's win came down to the chemistry between Josiah Coleman and his top target Matthew Hillstock. Coleman rushed for 51 yards and one score while Hillstock gained 74 total yards and a touchdown.

Woodmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Easley, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Woodmont has already played their next matchup, a 45-13 victory against J.L. Mann on the 3rd. As for Easley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-16 loss against Greenville on the 3rd.
