            Basketball Recap: ThunderRidge Grizzlies vs. Legend Titans        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Ponderosa  last Tuesday, ThunderRidge came back down to earth. The ThunderRidge Grizzlies fell  39-26 to the Legend Titans on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings  (they are ranked 71st, while the Titans are ranked third).
 Ranya Ettachfini was ThunderRidge's leading scorer, having posted ten  points.   Elly Daniels held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.   Maily Smith took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legend to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Aislyn Korella, who  posted seven points and three  steals. Korella is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Maile Starns, who  scored five  points.
ThunderRidge now  has a losing record of 9-10. As for Legend, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record  this season.
 ThunderRidge has already played their next match,  a  48-10  win against Heritage on the 12th. As for Legend, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  74-43  victory against Rock Canyon on the 12th.
