Basketball Recap: Armuchee Takes a Loss

Armuchee was the 47-22 winner over Chattooga when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. Armuchee took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chattooga on Friday.

Armuchee dropped their record down to 14-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Chattooga, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Armuchee will square off against rival Gordon Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chattooga is set to take on their familiar foe Fannin County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
