Softball Recap: Corbett Comes Up Short

Corbett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 15-11 to the Irrigon Knights.

Anabella Austinson was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Addison Lovell-Carlough, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Corbett's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Irrigon, with the victory, they broke their 13-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-13.

While Corbett had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
