Basketball Recap: Waxahachie's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Waxahachie posted their closest victory since December 6, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 37-34 win over the Horn Jaguars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 41-35 back in December of 2024.

Waxahachie's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kamarie Hardeman led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Kiylah Long-Sattarphai, who posted seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Waxahachie's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-15. As for Horn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-17.
