Basketball Recap: Riley County Find Success

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Riley County Falcons beat the Royal Valley Panthers 61-56.

Trey Webber had a dynamite game for Riley County, going 6 for 14 en route to 18 points. Webber is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Eli Harmison was another key player, putting up ten points and five assists.

Riley County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in four consecutive matchups.

Riley County's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Royal Valley, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7-2.

Riley County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-59 loss against Silver Lake on the 4th. Royal Valley has also already played their next contest, a 55-38 defeat against Holton on the 4th.
