Baseball Recap: Fraser Beats Lakeview for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Fraser waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Lakeview Huskies get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Ramblers have won by exactly three runs.

Lakeview's batters probably weren't too happy with Jack Manzella, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 15 Ks (he gave up a single walk). Manzella has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ben Essian was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Connor Sikorski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Fraser's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Lakeview, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 13-5.

Fraser will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Huskies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
