Lafayette waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the New Iberia Yellowjackets with points to spare, taking the game 50-34. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 88th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
