Louisville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-34 heartbreaker at the hands of Logan View/Scribner-Snyder. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-24 last Friday.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carly Haun, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. Haun continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Noelle Larson, who scored ten points along with seven boards and five assists.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder found their leader in freshman Jayde Kreifels, who earned ten points in addition to eight rebounds and four blocks. Kreifels is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Neveah Vacha, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.

Louisville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Looking ahead, Louisville will welcome Raymond Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Louisville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-40 loss against Syracuse on the 8th.
