Volleyball Game Preview: South Bend Riley Wildcats vs. Elkhart Lions

The South Bend Riley Wildcats will face off against the Elkhart Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

South Bend Riley is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Penn just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Kingsmen.

While South Bend Riley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Elkhart also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Penn by a score of 2-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elkhart was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Penn work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-18.

South Bend Riley now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Elkhart, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

South Bend Riley beat Elkhart 3-1 when the teams last played back in April. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
