Recap: CrossPointe Christian Academy Cavaliers vs. Lafayette Christian Cougars
This season hasn't been kind to the CrossPointe Christian Academy Cavaliers, who are still winless after their ninth matchup. They were outmatched by Lafayette Christian at home and fell 82-39. The matchup was Tellez's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Zapata, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
CrossPointe Christian Academy bumped their record down to 0-9 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Lafayette Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.
CrossPointe Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Skipstone Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lafayette Christian, they will be playing at home against Holy Ground Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
