After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Charter Oak, Canyon was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Buena Bulldogs with a sharp 38-14 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cowboys considering their six-point performance the matchup before.
Sebastian Martinez looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 146 yards and three touchdowns. Carson Soria was in the mix too, providing Canyon with two receiving touchdowns touchdowns.
Despite the loss, Buena still got an impressive performance from Jaxon Roberts, who rushed for 101 yards, and also picked up 45 receiving yards.
