Baseball Recap: Lubbock T Titans vs. Midland Classical Academy Knights

Lubbock T extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to ten on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 0-7 in the process. They lost 10-0 to the Midland Classical Academy Knights. The shutout was out of character for the Titans seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

As for Midland Classical Academy, they pushed their record up to 13-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. That's two games straight that they have won by exactly ten runs.

For Midland Classical Academy's part, Cam Gilbert was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave Gilbert a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. He has become a key player for Midland Classical Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 8-11 otherwise.
