Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Middletown). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the William Penn Colonials a 19-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Colonials recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Middletown now has a winning record of 5-4. As for William Penn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Middletown is taking a road trip to challenge Red Lion Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for William Penn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Appoquinimink at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
