Baseball Game Preview: Lynden Lions vs. Selah Vikings

For the second straight game, Lynden will face off against Selah. The Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Lynden 2.6, Selah 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Lynden is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Selah just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 6-5.

The win keeps Selah at an undefeated 10-0. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 7.9 runs this season. As for Lynden, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
